Winter is in full swing and has brought us snow, ice, sub-zero temperatures, thunderstorms, fog and spring-like temperatures! Our climate may be inconsistent, but one thing that remains the same is the wide variety of activities and fun events offered around our city!

Blue Jackets Winter Park, February 2-25, McFerson Commons
Presented by Worthington Industries, the Blue Jackets Winter Park will feature a NHL-sized ice rink available for public skating, hockey and community events. The cost is $5 for kids and $10 for adults, and includes skate rental. For more information, visit their website.
truTV Impractical Jokers Starring the Tenderloins, February 3, Nationwide Arena
Do you love the TV show, “Impractical Jokers”? If so, you won’t want to miss the four comedians from the show– Joe Gatto, James Murray, Brian Quinn and Sal Vulcano – in their “Santiago Sent Us” tour. Referred to as The Tenderloins, the four comedians will provide a combination of stand-up, never before seen hidden camera videos, stories and insight.
Columbus Polar Plunge, February 3, EXPRESS Live!
Join Special Olympics Ohio athletes, their families and other plungers in this Central Ohio winter tradition. Participants raise money in order to jump off EXPRESS Live!’s stage and into the Polar Plunge Pool. “Too Chicken to Plunge” registrants who don’t wish to jump can still participate and will get a special t-shirt for a $30 donation.
Chicago featuring Eddie George, February 6-11, Palace Theatre
Now the number one longest-running American musical in Broadway history, Chicago features its universal storyline, show-stopping songs and impressive dancing. The fast-talking lawyer Billy Flynn will be played by someone you probably know….former NFL legend, OSU superstar and Heisman Trophy winner Eddie George!
COSI After Dark, February 8, COSI
In honor of the upcoming winter Olympics, the next COSI After Dark theme is COSI Olympics! Individuals 21 years old and older can enjoy themed activities, a cash bar, concessions and COSI’s many exhibits.
Celebrate Valentine’s Day, February 14, Franklin Park Conservatory
Celebrate the lovers’ holiday at the Franklin Park Conservatory! You’ll enjoy live music and an exotic orchid bloom display as you sample exquisite wine and handcrafted artisan chocolates available at six stations throughout the Conservatory.
Kid Rock, February 17, Nationwide Arena
Kid Rock will be performing his American Rock N Roll Tour 2018 at Nationwide Arena, with special guest A Thousand Horses. For tickets and information, visit their website.
The Price is Right Live, February 22, Ohio Theatre
If you’re a fan of the TV show, you’ll love the Price is Right Live, an interactive, non-televised stage show that gives eligible participants the chance to guess prices to win appliances, vacations and possibly a new car. Tickets are on sale now.
Columbus Blue Jackets – February 2, 6, 10, 16, 18, 24. 26 Nationwide Arena
If might be the shortest month of the year, but our Columbus Blue Jackets have seven home games in February! They’ll be facing the San Jose Sharks, Washington Capitals, New Jersey Devils, Philadelphia Flyers, Pittsburg Penguins, and Chicago Blackhawks!
