Our members learned to dance like the stars on Monday, August 7 during a Ballroom Dance class at The Barn!
Instructors Brianna Michelle McEowen and Diego Enrique Semprun taught approximately 45 Edwards Communities’ members the basic steps of the Cha Cha and the Salsa. They were the same instructors who taught a special ballroom dancing class at Arlington Park last month. The Arlington Park class was so well received that we wanted to provide the opportunity for more members to get involved. Since The Barn is normally closed on Mondays, the clubroom offered the perfect venue for a large-group dancing class.
Both Brianna and Diego have years of dancing experience under their belts. Brianna began her dancing career with ballet, and at age 20 was promoted to a dance instructor. Diego began taking salsa dancing lessons in Venezuela when he was 15 years old, and started dancing in the United States about 10 years ago at age 20. Both are fulfilling a lifelong dream of dancing and teaching dance.
We are grateful to both Brianna and Diego for sharing their love of dance with our members! Everyone who participated in the class had a great time and left knowing new dance steps!
