Edwards Communities is excited for the summer season! The pools will open, members will hang out on decks and patios, walking trails will be used for afternoon strolls, and the warm weather will allow for more fun activities to be held outside!
In addition to the amenities that our individual communities offer, all members of Edwards Communities have access to The Barn, Edwards Communities’ private club! And here are all of the fun things going on at The Barn this summer:
Sand Volleyball
Members can join The Barn’s sand volleyball leagues three times a year – in the fall, spring and summer seasons! League games are played at The Barn’s sand volleyball court, or just down the street at Hayden Lofts’ sand volleyball court. It’s a relaxed but fun competition and a great way to stay active, spend time outdoors and get to know your neighbors!
We kicked off the spring sand volleyball league May 16, and teams play every Tuesday evening with the championship game on June 27. The summer league begins on July 11.
If you want to play but a league is not your thing, no problem! The sand volleyball court is open for pick-up games during The Barn’s normal business hours.
Yuengling Summer Concert Series
Want to start the weekend early? The Barn will be hosting a summer concert series on the deck every Thursday night at 7:30 throughout the summer!
The concert series is sponsored by Yuengling, so come out and enjoy the music along with the every Thursday $4 U Call It drink and Panini sandwich specials! Check out The Barn’s website for the summer concert band schedule.
Live Entertainment Every Weekend at The Barn
The Barn hosts live music every Friday and Saturday night throughout the year, and the fun continues in the summer! Visit our website and Like Us on Facebook to stay up to date on the specials and band schedule!
Food Truck Monday
The Barn may be closed on Mondays, but our parking lot is wide open, welcoming a different food truck each week from 5-8 p.m. So if you want to grab something quick on your way home from work or just don’t know what to cook for dinner, let the Food Truck be your answer! It’s our way of easing you back into the workweek…. because we all need something to look forward to on Mondays!
Pool’s open
The Barn’s pool opens on May 27, and poolside service is available on Saturdays and Sundays (weather permitting), serving a great lunch and snack menu items along with your favorite beverages. It’s like being on vacation just a few steps away from your door!
Fitness Classes & Personal Training
These classes are offered year around at The Barn, as well as in the summer! Please visit The Barn’s website for information on the types of classes, schedule and fees.
