We’re hoping the cold weather we endured in April will bring us the perfect temperatures for all of the fun events taking place in Columbus in May! Whether you’re a sports fan, appreciate culture, support non-profits or enjoy the night life Columbus has something for you this month. Justin Timberlake, May 7, Nationwide Arena

Columbus is one of global superstar Justin Timberlake’s stops during his Man of the Woods Tour. Named after his album Man of the Woods, the music offers a personal insight into his layered life experiences and journey into fatherhood.  Tickets can be purchased here.

 

Columbus Crew, May 9, 12, MAPFRE Stadium

The Columbus Crew has two home games this month against Philadelphia Union on May 9, and Chicago Fire on May 12. Visit their website for more information and to purchase tickets.

 

Columbus College of Art and Design Fashion Show, May 11, Greater Columbus Convention Center

CCAD’s top student designers will be showcasing their latest looks ranging from adaptive children’s wear for kids with disabilities to unisex clothes inspired by insects. Proceeds from the event will fund CCAD scholarships. Visit their website for more information and to purchase tickets.

 

Columbus Craft Beer Week, May 11-19, Nationwide Arena

It takes nine days to showcase Columbus’ talent at brewing craft beer. Columbus Craft Beer Week celebrates the creativity of beers, community events and collaborative brews through beer-centric events at venues across the city.

 

Rock on the Range, May 18-20, MAPFRE Stadium

The nation’s biggest and most acclaimed three-day rock festival will feature Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, A Perfect Circle, Avenged Sevenfold and many others. View the lineup and purchase tickets.

 

Komen Columbus Race for the Cure 2018, May 19, Downtown Columbus

The largest Race for the Cure celebrates and honors breast cancer survivors and raises funds to find cures.  Visit their website to get involved, sign up to run, donate, or purchase Komen gear before the race.

 

North Market Apron Gala, May 19, North Market

The 22ndannual Apron Gala showcases music, drinks and fun three-course dining experiences along with live entertainment, a live auction and dancing. All proceeds benefit North Market Development Authority, the non-profit that operates and manages the historic North Market.

 

Asian Festival, May 26-27, Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens

This free event promotes the importance of cultural diversity with exhibits, demonstrations, entertainment, food, games, market place, a career fair and much more.

 

The Memorial Tournament Presented by Nationwide, May 28 – June 3, Muirfield Village Golf Club

Founded 42 years ago by Jack Nicklaus, this year’ s Memorial Tournament begins with three days of practice rounds, a Memorial Honoree Ceremony on Wednesday and tournament rounds running from Thursday through Sunday. Get the full schedule and purchase tickets on their website.
